Whatsapp, one of the most popular messaging apps, had updated its privacy policy and had asked its users to accept the new term and conditions by 8 Feburary, 2021.
The new privacy policy had come into news on the issue of how user data is impacted given its integration with Facebook.
Because of such reasons whatsapp extend the date to 15 may.

These features won't work after may 15 if you don't accept it
Whatsapp made it clear that it would not delete the accounts of user's who have not accepted The new privacy policy.
Now, this is not as simple as it sounds, whatsapp will stop sending messages, calls on your phone. This is worse than losing your account.
